Desperate to get out flying, I decided to throw caution to the wind literally and venture out. No sooner had I arrived at the field, than the rain started....show no fear! The wind was blowing between 12 and 14 mph from NNE and the temp was 7 C. The shots of the quad travelling backwards was just me letting it float on the prevailing wind which gives a good impression of wind speed. Maximum altitude was 275 feet.
